My name is Pia and I’m 18 years old. What I liked about Kingston is that both the institute and people who work there are very cozy. They classes are good and dynamic which makes it easier to learn (and more fun!). I’ve been at Kingston for 3 weeks and I find that my English has improved a lot. Now I can communicate easier!

I liked Kingston institute very much because I found this institute does very good classes and has good teachers and good staff. My English is better than before. I think my English is something regular now, but before my English was really horrible.

My Name is Hiro. I am from Tokyo. I like to learn English because this language is international and I can use it to have a conversation with people from different countries. I have more liberty if I want to speak with different people. Thank you to Kingston, my teacher’s Maynah and Peter and to everyone!

The Queen’s 90th birthday celebration

The official head of state of New Zealand is the Monarch of the Commonwealth Realms. The monarch's birthday is officially celebrated in many parts of New Zealand. On her accession in 1952 Queen Elizabeth II was proclaimed in New Zealand ‘Queen of this Realm and all her other Realms’. Her representative in New Zealand, the governor general, has symbolic and ceremonial roles and is not involved in the daytoday running of the government, which is the domain of the prime minister. Her actual birthday is on April 21, but it's celebrated as a public holiday on the first Monday of June.
