We have a great team of teachers from all over the English-speaking world, and we are always keen to add to it. A Kingston teacher should have enthusiasm for teaching and learning, professionalism and a sense of urgency. It goes without saying that you will be able to work well as part of a team and be committed to providing a well-rounded positive experience for international students.

Applications are welcome from any suitably qualified and experienced teachers but we are particularly interested in hearing from those with experience in NZCEL and/or exam preparation, especially IELTS. Applicants must be native speakers or have achieved an IELTS band score of 9.0 and be entitled to work in New Zealand. Expected qualification level would be a Bachelor’s degree and CELTA (or equivalent). Our core teaching hours are 09:00 to 11:00 and 11:30 to 13:30 (20 hours per week) but afternoon, evening and weekend lessons are also often available.
